In the tradition of The Kinks and the Small Faces and around the same time as Ian Dury and Squeeze, Chas & Dave wrote and recorded exceptionally witty songs about life in London, performed with a strong affection for all things English reminiscent of many of the great Music Hall artists many years previously. With Dave now in retirement Chas has formed his own band. 

 

CHAS & HIS BAND are now touring in their own right under the banner ROCK RABBIT & ROLL TOUR.  

 

Chas will still be performing all the Chas and Dave hits in the second half of the show including “AIN’T NO PLEASING YOU”, “GERTCHA”, “SIDEBOARD SONG” “MARGATE” “LONDON GIRLS” “SNOOKER LOOPY” etc along with some tracks from Chas’s new solo album.  

The first half of the show will now feature Chas’s tribute to Rock ‘ n’ Roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis, songs and stories from the days when Chas both toured and recorded with him, ending the half with “RABBIT” to give the audience a taste of what’s to come in the second half.
