Geoff Jukes

Geoff turned professional in 1977 following a hugely successful & fulfilling amateur & semi-professional career. Those early years saw Geoff "cutting his teeth" in Summer Season and for the famous Bob Wheatley circuit of clubs in London & the Home Counties. By the mid 80's he had established himself as a class act & it was no surprise when TVS asked him to do several "TV Warm Ups" for their "Seaside Special" series. Not only a superb Comedian & Compere, Geoff is a truly excellent Vocalist with a leaning towards "Swing & Ballads". This of course gives him that extra special string to his bow! By the late 80's & early 90's Geoff had also started to take regular engagements overseas for H.M. armed forces and had established himself as one of the UK's top "Stag Comics". 1995 saw Geoff break into television in his own right with appearances for BBC, Carlton TV, Wall to Wall TV & Mike Mansfield TV. By 2000 Geoff regularly appeared along side household names. His biggest break being his own spot on "Noel's House Party" with a live BBC TV audience of over 8 million! During 2000 Geoff continued with his successful Cabaret act both in the UK & in Sydney, Australia.

While in Sydney he rekindled his love for "TV Warm Ups" working for Channel 7 & Grundy TV. This lead to a return to the TV studios in the UK where he has & is currently doing the "Warm Ups" for most of the BBC & ITV's prime time programmes. Geoff continues to be equally at home whether doing cabaret at a club or holiday centre, a TV warm up at the BBC, an after dinner at a Golf Club or a Stag show at an inner city pub!
